Dairy Dairy From farm to fork holds true right here as we bring you farm fresh butter, cream, eggs and cheese. The number of dairy farms is reducing by the year, we hope that by selling on the Island our farmers will benefit from fairer prices, and we all reduce food miles at the same time. Our Award Winning IOW cheese maker Richard Hodgson is developing his range as we speak and will soon have a cheddar version available. Your cheeseboard is nearly complete!
Drinks Drinks Wow! we have really enjoyed selecting Island wines, beers and ales for our ‘tipple’ category as we have been truly amazed at the quality of drinks our Isle produces. There is a wine or beer for every occasion and to suit every food. For a refreshing and tasty soft drink we also have apple juices and ginger beer coming very soon. Don’t forget that we can supply party packs of most beers and cases of wine, and can also do gift delivery for you.
Jars, Packs and Pots! Jars, Packs and Pots! Organic, Isle of Wight pasta, scrumptious concoctions from The Garlic Farm, homemade fruit jams, pate, dips and spreads; this is all about filling your larder and fridge with tasty delicacies and store cupboard favourites that will bring flavour and goodness to every meal.
Meat, Fish & Game Meat, Fish & Game Flavoursome, tender meat is the end result when animals have lived a happy and healthy life on the farm, as they do here on the Island. Flavour is also enhanced by minimal travel and hanging the meat for just the right time. Wandering freely up and down Sheepwash Lane in Godshill our local chickens have the run of the farm alongside their friends and neighbours; the ducks and and turkeys! To ensure quality your meat cuts are freshly prepared to order by our friendly butcher Mr Paul Murphy.
Pick of the Crop Pick of the Crop Famous for fertile soils and long sunny days the Isle of Wight is lucky enough to host a prime selection of the UK’s best growers. Our Island fields, orchards and market gardens have a wonderful selection of fresh, tasty produce including the highest quality salad leaves, sweet corn, asparagus, squashes, cauliflowers, soft fruits, new potatoes (move over the Jersery Royal!) and much much more. In this section you really can eat the view as we bring you fresh seasonal produce at it’s best.
You and Your Home For you, a selection of natural, Island produced, beauty products and toiletries. For your home, a selection of environmentally friendly products including ventilated compost bins with compostable liners (if they are ventilated they don’t smell, unlike the ones supplied by the Council!), a log maker, bin bags and, as we source more things we like, a whole lot more to come.
